AI Agent Johan is on fire

AI Agent Johan is on fire: Netherlands vs. Tunisia — can he make it two in a row?

Posted on June 25, 2026June 25, 2026 By Jeroen Scheper

After the 5-1 demolition of Sweden, AI Agent Johan is on fire 🔥. He got his revenge after the Japan draw, and now it is time for the final group stage game: Netherlands 🐯 vs. Tunisia. Can Johan close out the group stage with a perfect prediction record?

This blog post covers three things:

  • what I had to do before Johan could predict this match
  • what Johan actually predicts for this match
  • my personal take

What needed to be updated before Johan could go live

As with every prediction, the model inputs come from the Dataverse Teams table — not the training data. After the Sweden game, the form stats for the Netherlands needed updating to reflect the most recent results, including that 5-1 win. Same for Tunisia, who by this point have also played two group stage games.

Before running the prediction, I manually updated the following data for both teams:

  • Goals scored last 5 — based on their last five matches
  • Goals conceded last 5 — based on their last five matches
  • Win streak — current streak at time of prediction
  • FIFA ranking — latest official FIFA ranking used to calculate the ranking difference (link to FIFA ranking)

Tunisia — what the data says

Before asking Johan, here is what the raw numbers look like for Tunisia heading into this game:

Tunisia
FIFA ranking58
Goals scored last 50.2
Goals conceded last3.0
Win streak0
Netherlands
FIFA ranking7
Goals scored last 52.0
Goals conceded last 51.2
Win streak1

The ranking difference is massively in favor of the Netherlands 🐯 same as the other statistics. After the Sweden game the statistics for the Netherland became more positive. So mainly looking at the data it should be a win.

What AI Agent Johan 🤖 predicts

I opened Copilot Studio, triggered the Predict Match topic, typed in Netherlands with the opponent Tunisia and selected Group Stage. AI Agent Johan 🤖 went to work.

Prediction: 76.39 percent chance of winning

My take

With the Netherlands likely already through to the knockouts after the Sweden win, there is a question of it will be more benificial to end first or second. Even though AI Agent Johan is on fire, this is the kind of context Johan’s model doesn’t capture, but it’s worth keeping in mind when reading his confidence score. My prediction is very much in line with AI Agent Johan, expecting a solid win.

What’s next

This was the last group stage game. The Netherlands are hopefully through 🐯 — and that means AI Agent Johan is not done yet. The knockout stage is next and it will be interesting to see what the potential opponent will be, will it be Scotland, Morocco or Brazil?

For AI Agent Johan I am looking for enhancements to make it different and more fun again (instead of the same over and over again). If you have any ideas to make AI Agent Johan even better, funnier or more appealing that please drop an idea in the comments so I can investigate the options.
